Dan TimmerDirector of Marketing

    Director of Marketing, Dan Timmer, is responsible for the marketing and product development strategy. In this role he oversees corporate branding, lead generation, product development and management. Mr. Timmer joined SecurityCoverage in December 2013 and served as Sr. Product Manager, prior to being named Director of Marketing in 2016.

    Prior to joining SecurityCoverage, Mr. Timmer was responsible for vendor management and contract negotiation for the marketing and human resources departments at Rockwell Collins. Mr. Timmer served as Director of Strategic Marketing at GreatAmerica Financial Services from May 2005 until May 2013. While at GreatAmerica Financial Services, Mr. Timmer was responsible for marketing for the Communications and IT business units as well as playing a key role in market analysis, strategic planning, vendor management, promoting a partner-focused culture, and creating an IT business unit.

    Prior to joining GreatAmerica Financial Services, Mr. Timmer held various product and market management positions at McLeodUSA, where he was employed from June 1996 to May 2005. Mr. Timmer has 19 years of experience in the telecommunications industry.

    Mr. Timmer earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Business from Cornell College.
