The easiest way to see this would be to navigate to Device Status, and you’ll see the fourth option is “Channel”. Next to this you’ll see what channel your network is on.
The Network Analyzer screen’s default view is to show you 2.4GHz networks, but you can easily switch between 2.4 and 5GHz by pressing the green “Switch” button next to the Frequency label.
On most of our screens you’ll be able to see “Connected To:” label at the top of your screen. If you’re not connected to anything, this will be blank or show as N/A, but if you are connected, your SSID will be listed here.
dBm stands for decibel milliwatts. dBm can be used in radio, microwave, and fiber-optical networks as a measure of absolute power because of its capability to express both very large and very small values in short form. The closer the number is to 0, the better off your signal strength is.
Good news: you don’t need to worry too much about what it means. We’ve color coded our graph so that you can easily tell whether or not your wireless signal is in good shape. If your signal strength is green you’re exactly where you need to be. If you’re signal strength is yellow you are below average, and if your signal strength is in the red, you won’t need to be reading this to know that you’re having severe problems with your connection.
Not only do you have unlimited installs, but once you have the premium version you’re allowed to install on Android, Windows, iOS, and macOS.
Once you’ve purchased the premium version, you are able to install on as many devices as you need! We realize that in today’s world each household has quite a few wireless devices, so we didn’t want you to have to choose which devices to install on– we don’t have any restrictions on the number of installations allowed.
